Flame Arrestor
Deflagration Flame Arrestor
TIDF
The in-line deflagration flame arrester, TIDF / DB are designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with USCG 33 CFR Part 154 Appendix A, IMO MSc/Circ.677, API 2000, BS 7244 and ISO 16852.
These standards allow its use in marine vapor recovery systems of oil, product, and chemical tankers, offshore & ocean gas plants, as well as gas and chemical plants, tank terminals, and reifnery tank farms.
It is installed in-line within piping systems and functions as explosion -proof and deflagration-proof equipment ot prevent flame propagation into cargo tanks or protected systems.
The TIDF flame arrester provides reliable protection against explosion and deflagration of gases in Group IIA (MESG>0.90 mm) and Group IIB3 (MESG> 0.63 mm).
It can be applied to open and closed pipework on the unprotected side, ensuring operational flexibility in different piping systems.
Benefits
High-Safety Assurance : Effectively blocks flame propagation caused by explosion or deflagration, protecting both facilities and personnel.
International Certificate : Complies with USCG, IMO, ISO, API, and BS international standards for global reliability.
Wide Gas Group Coverage : suitable for both IIA and IIB3 gas groups, ensuring broad application in various industries
Flexible Installation : Supports both bi-directional installation (USCG Standard) and one-directional installation (IMO standard), adaptable to different piping systems.
Versatile Application : Can be used for open and closed pipework on the unprotected side, providing operational flexibility.
Easy Maintenance : Flame element can be checked, cleaned, or replaced periodically to ensure long-term performance.
